Is eRIMS2 a web-based application?
Yes, eRIMS2 is a web-based and web-enabled system.
Can multiple users log into the eRIMS2 system concurrently?
Yes, the system has recently passed a stress test for 250 concurrent users and can handle more with customization.
Does eRIMS2 have multiple security authorization levels?
Yes, eRIMS2 comes with five levels of security authorization.
Can external data be imported into eRIMS2?
Yes, eRIMS2 comes with an import module that converts your existing and historical claims data. Data from numerous
systems has already been converted and imported in eRIMS2.
Does eRIMS2 have extensive reporting capabilities?
A list of standard reports is supplied as an attachment to the system, however the user can create their own reports
and set up security levels to access them. Emerson Software Solutions also offers this as a service.
Can we use our existing claim number system when importing previous data into eRIMS2?
Yes, eRIMS2 can be customized to comply with a customer's existing claims number standards.
Can eRIMS2 track multiple claims per occurrence?
Yes, this is a standard feature of the software package.
Can you host eRIMS2 or recommended someone who will?
We can both host eRIMS2 or work with preferred providers to have the application hosted for you.
What are the minimum requirements for eRIMS2?
Hardware requirements: End user hardware requirements for the user of eRIMS2 are a standard personal computer running
the latest version of their preferred standard web browser software. No minimum machine requirements have been set other
than the screen resolution should be set no lower than 800 by 600 pixels for optimum application use.
Browser requirements: Since you will be accessing eRIMS2 through a web browser, please refer to your browser's manufacturer
for system requirements for that particular browser. The system is used extensively with the latest version of Microsoft
Internet Explorer.
Communication requirements: It is suggested that the communications line to be used with eRIMS2 be a high-speed line
(DSx, Tx, Cable internet or DSL line), however, the application will work with a standard phone line connection. eRIMS2
should work on both Windows PCs and MAC computers.
Software information: eRIMS2 is based on ASP and javascript code. The application runs on Microsoft Windows 2000 ServerŠ
or Windows 2003 ServerŠ operating system software. |
